In the early days just after the war began, Natalia Silvester rallied a number of people and companies to assist with a donation drop off scheme for aid to be distributed directly to Ukraine. Guernsey Post responded offering to send out packages free of charge, which they did so however it was apparent with the generosity of islanders that the postal service alone would not be enough. They have continued to provide assistance through the charities various activities.
